Also known as 'Akuata', this modern centrepiece measures 39cm in height and is a truly sophisticated Kieninger design. The unique visual appearance is perfectly represented by the cylindrical case. This exquisite mantel clock features a silver plated chapter ring with Roman numerals, neat hand milled breguet hands; and a unique skeleton design that allows high visibility into the inner gears of the timepiece. A smaller seconds dial is also featured. The timepiece features a perfectly rounded base, and a cylindrical case with curved crystal glass door at the front which can be opened by sliding it around the case. A dome glass top provides an unobstructed view of the polished brass bell chimes, whilst the clock features a natural cherry finish case.

This elegant clock is fitted with a Kieninger polished movement with 11 jewel Swiss escapement. The 8 day movement offers the choice of triple chimes on 9 diamond cut bells, featuring the famous Westminster Chime (also known as the "Big Ben" chime or the "Westminster Quarters"); the Whittington Chime; and the St. Michael's Chimes. The melody can be selected to play every quarter hour, whilst the movement will also strike the hour each hour. The movement and the case are both 100% German made, ensuring an item of high quality.

As this clock is an 8 day mechanism it requires winding once a week. In addition to these features, the clock also features an automatic night-time shut-off between the hours of 10pm and 7am to allow you a sound sleep, as well as the option to silence the chime altogether should that be preferred.
