This exquisite tambour mantel clock was designed by world renowned clock makers AMS from the Black Forest in Germany, where the company was established in 1766.

Measuring 27cm in height and an impressive 71cm in width, this exquisite mantel clock features an impressive chapter ring dial with neat roman numerals, elegant hands and a hinged convex mineral glass bezel lens. The overall design is featured as a tambour style case design that was popular in the 1930's, made from solid wood with a rich walnut stained finish, and beautiful detailed carvings.

This elegant clock is fitted with a high quality mechanical 8 day brass Westminster chime that requires winding once a week. This clock chimes the Westminster chime every 15 minutes, and strikes the hour on the full hour. This clock is wound with a key in the holes in the dial.
This table clock has a manual on/off lever, which is accessed from the back door. This can be activated at any time. There is no auto night off.
