Great things come in small packages, and this traditional crafted clock is no exception. This delightful timepiece was produced by artisan clock makers TRENKLE from Simonswald in the Black Forest region of Germany.

Measuring 15cm in height*, this beautiful clock resembles a tudor house, a popular style of building featuring a half timbered facade. Chalet style clocks are commonly shaped as alpine houses, featuring details that represent life in the mountain regions of Europe (around southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria). This particular clock has additional hand painted features including window shutters, and flowers on the chalet facade and base. Additional features include a large tree, a water trough, and a couple dressed in traditional Black Forest attire out the front of the chalet. Rounding out this delightful scene is a wooden clock dial in the centre of the clock, and a blue bird above the dial that moves back and forth. This timepiece is powered by a high quality quartz movement that is accurate at keeping time. It is recommended to change the batteries annually to ensure longevity of your clock mechanism.

Perhaps the most unique feature of this delightful clock is the addition of a Black Forest couple sitting on a seesaw below the clock, acting as the pendulum. The seesaw swings side to side, providing a visual delight that is sure to entertain all ages.
